Environment, Efficiency (Consumption) and Empowerment

Sustainability Strategy

We at Indigotex produce sustainable fabrics for the good of our society

We hope to work together with partners who shares the same values. We committed to helping the environment as much as possible with our products.

Indiwool denim is made of merino wool as wool is a eco fibre since wool comes from nature and go back to nature in a cycle. Wool is mainly composed of protein so it can be broken down and returned back to nature to enrich the soil.

Our sustainability strategy focuses on three pillars- Environment, Efficiency (Consumption) and Empowerment. These three ā€œE’sā€ encompass our efforts towards ecological considerations, efficient use of resources, including raw materials and energy and awareness about the sustainable production processes in the textile industry through innovations. We aim to accelerate the circular economy and increase collaboration in the textile and apparel industry. To achieve our ambitions, we will continue strengthening each pillar through innovation at all levels of our product life cycle, from manufacturing to use and eventually to its disposal.

Plasma Technology for a Sustainable Future

Enabling plasma in wool to make superwash quality of wool & it is complete waterless:-

Plasma is effective using just renewable electricity and air as raw materials.

Plasma is a completely different approachĀ that avoids wet processing – downstream water filtration and processing which saves gallons of water & Energy.

A real alternative to industry-standard chlorine-based technology.

Plasma processĀ are clear and obvious.Ā There are no special gasses used to generate the plasma field used in the treatment, so no impact associated with production, storage and disposal of gasses.Ā

There are no harmful by products produced from the process either. The key requirement for production is electricity.
